Lisa Green, Director of Education
Mrs. Lisa is a certified teacher and has been in education for over 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Northwood University of Michigan and a Bachelor's of Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University of Michigan. She has taught 2nd and 3rd grade in St. Lucie County and 5th grade in Martin County, as well as preschool and VPK in a private school setting.

Tresa Shirrell, Director of Administration
Mrs. Tresa is a seasoned homeschool mom with many years of teaching experience with homeschool co-ops as well as teaching and administration at a local private school. She has an A.S. Degree in Office Technology from Eastern Florida State College and spent her pre-children years working as a bookkeeper at CPA firms. She also operates a small goat farm located in Palm City Farms along with her husband and two teenage children. If you have questions or need help with registration, please contact Mrs. Tresa.
Rebecca Carreiro, Primary A Teacher
Mrs. Rebecca Carreiro graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2008 where she received her bachelor’s degree in Music Education. She taught K-5 music in St. Lucie County before leaving teaching to stay home with her children. She enjoys homeschooling her 3 children as well as sewing, writing, and graphic design.
Lilia Salinas, Primary B Teacher
Mrs. Lilia is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University where she received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6. She was a primary classroom teacher for 7 years in Martin County and maintains her certification. Mrs. Lilia is bilingual and highly experienced at helping students achieve their reading and math goals. Mrs. Lilia has been a teacher at My Village since we opened in 2018.
Noelle Mooney, Primary C/Tween Teacher
Mrs. Noelle joined our teaching staff in January of 2020 and has proven to be a valuable asset to My Village. Noelle is very artistic and enjoys sharing her love of art, animals and the environment with the children. A former homeschool mom herself, she adores the kids and gives her all to them every day. Her hobbies include photography, art, music, handicrafts and gardening. Mrs. Noelle has been a teacher at My Village since January of 2020.
Julie Harper, Primary C/Tween Teacher
Mrs. Julie Harper taught English 5-8th grade for fifteen years in Florida public and private classrooms and high school English for one year in Belize, Central America. She currently tutors Chinese students in English, as she homeschools her eight-year-old son and six-year-old daughter. She has a bachelor's degree in English and secondary education from Flagler College and is a lifeguard and swim instructor as well. Currently she lives in Indiantown raising pigs and selling chicken eggs with her family, and she enjoys being outside and, in the water, whenever she can.
Traci Corman, Tutor
Mrs. Traci Corman is one of our Small Group Tutoring teachers and has also taught classes and substituted as needed in the past. She is a mom and wife who has a heart for teaching young students. The kids absolutely adore her; they know she genuinely cares about them.
Melissa Rodgers, Sports Teacher and Primary C Assistant
Mrs. Melissa Rodgers graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She spent the years between college and having children adventuring and exploring the Pacific Northwest. Melissa is a homeschooling mom of three that has a love for horticulture, pottery, and being active outdoors. She has a passion for teaching young children and is honored to be a part of My Village.
Tara Chaparro, Primary C Teacher Assistant
Mrs. Tara is an experienced homeschool mom for the past 12 years and has had the privilege to be involved in teaching and assisting in various co-op settings. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys baking and traveling, and is active in her church. Tara is thrilled to be part of My Village.
