Afternoon classes begin AFTER lunch!

STORY ART- After listening to a treasured read-aloud, children will be inspired to create a masterpiece of their own!  Various media and techniques will be used in class.  Examples include creating chalk art after listening to Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost and creating a turtle from airdry clay after listening to I'll Follow the Moon by Stephanie Lisa Tara.

SPORTS - Students will be up and moving while learning the techniques of various sports.  Among many others, they will have opportunities to practice their dribbling and shooting skills, their set and spike finesse, their wiffleball and kickball might and mini-golf talents as well.

CERAMICS - In this class, your child will learn how to make a pot on the pottery wheel as well as hand build with clay.  The clay used on the pottery wheel is earthenware clay that can be fired in a kiln and the clay used during hand-building is air-dry children's clay.  The earthenware will be a forever keepsake that is functional as dinnerware and can even be put into the dishwasher.  Viable pots can be taken home that same day and will include instructions on where to take them to be fired in a kiln.  We recommend local studios in PSL and Stuart. (These studios have their own fees for completing your project.)
