ROBOTICS- Truly a STEAM course!  Students will use art and design to invent robotic creations that are guaranteed to WOW each child involved.  LittleBits are a sequential, hands-on, coding program where students learn the cause and effect of programming their creations to achieve a given challenge or purpose.  A unique experience for learners of all ages!

YARD GAMES - Students will use a variety of equipment to promote physical wellness and psychomotor skills.  There will be an emphasis on group collaboration.  Students will learn to function as a team through group games and challenges.  Examples include: Bocce, Croquet, Cornhole, Fling a Ring, Spikeball, Kanjam, Speedminton, Ladder Ball, Frisbee, Ring Toss, Fricket, Rollers, Flickin Chicken, Kubb, Djubi and Pickle Ball.

SCIENCEThis hands-on science class covers topics such as climate, forecasting, weather, cells, anatomy, chemistry, gases, electricity and circuitry,  magnets and more.  Various resources will be used to engage students of all ages.  Examples include anatomy kits, microscopes, paper circuits and surprising experiments!

HISTORY- Who doesn't love hands-on history?!  Many pictures were posted to our Facebook page last year so check out the fun learning that was had by experiencing history instead of memorizing facts.  This year we will focus on the Middle Ages from the Byzantines to the Explorers and everyone in between! 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION (PE) - Students will use a variety of equipment to promote physical wellness and psychomotor skills.  There will be an emphasis on group collaboration.  Students will learn to function as a team through group games and challenges.

WOODWORKING - Basic woodworking skills are not only practical, they're fun!  Practicing these skills provides the learner with applicable skills in everyday life.  Your child will discover how measurement and fractions are a necessary skill as well.  This class will include building woodworking projects with basic tools - measuring tape, square, hammer, nails, drill, screw driver, files and of course...a glue gun!  Projects vary by age group and ability level.
